Montgomery County residents can suggest locations for speed cameras by contacting the Montgomery County Police Automated Traffic Enforcement Program Manager. Cameras may only be placed on residential roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less or in school zones, as defined by Maryland law.
Montgomery County will host the 10th annual GreenFest on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Marian Fryer Plaza in Wheaton. The event will feature exhibits on environmental topics, electric vehicles, live music, family activities, and a household battery recycling drop-off, along with recognition of local individuals and organizations for their sustainability efforts.
