Around 3:20PM Thursday, February 4, Gaithersburg and Montgomery County Police Officers discovered a teenage male deceased behind a business located in the 15700 block of Shady Grove Road. Responders had been called to the scene by passerby who observed a person laying on the ground.
MoCo Police Press Release on Recent Carjackings
The Montgomery County Police Department sent out a press release yesterday addressing the increased number of carjackings in our area in recent months.
On January 27th, Montgomery County Police announced the passing of Blanca Kling due to COVID-19 related pneumonia at the age of 68.
Blanca began working as a Victim Assistant in Wheaton for MCP in 1980. In 2005 she transitioned to the Public Information Division with the goal of helping to strengthen communications between the police department and the Hispanic community.
