O’Donnell’s began in 1922 when Tom O’Donnell opened the Sea Grill at 1207 E Street NW in downtown Washington, DC. Now, O’Donnell’s Market operates at 1073 Seven Locks Rd. in the Potomac Woods Plaza (Rockville/Potomac, MD). Our very own Mr. MoCo recently ranked O’Donnell’s as his favorite crabcake in Montgomery County and in the top five in the entire state of Maryland. Photos are available below.

Montgomery County’s Aging and Disability Services, in partnership with Montgomery County Recreation, will host a free community celebration for residents 55 and older on Friday, May 30 at the White Oak Senior Center in Silver Spring to mark Older Americans Month with fitness activities, music, resources, and giveaways. Rugby fans in the D.C. region have a reason to cheer even louder this summer: several standout players from Old Glory DC, the DMV’s own professional rugby team, will represent the United States as USA Rugby Eagles in a major international showdown. On July 19, 2025, Audi Field in Washington, D.C., will host a historic double-header featuring the USA Men’s National Team against England, followed by the USA Women’s Team squaring off with Fiji.
