The Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Service’s Liquor & Wine store located at 11301 Seven Locks Road in Potomac has temporarily closed after an employee was possibly exposed to COVID-19.

Tandoori Nights in Bethesda Permanently Closes
Tandoori Nights, located at 7236 Woodmont Ave in Bethesda, has closed. The original location at 106 Market St. in Gaithersburg, remains open.

Montgomery County Councilmember Hans Riemer has tweeted his support in resuming the recently cancelled football, cheer, and pompon season that was previously modified and postponed until the spring.
Montgomery & Wheaton Mall Openings
Food courts are back open in Montgomery County. Montgomery Mall has opened theirs up at 25% capacity while Wheaton Mall has theirs open at 50% capacity. In February, Montgomery Mall had turned a portion of its outdoor garage into an “enchanted forest dining area” to provide a space for shoppers to dine.

The biggest change this year is their new paved parking lot. “After decades of thought, the farm market was finally paved to create a better experience for our customers. The Los Angeles Business Journal is reporting that Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) plans to sell all of it’s US holdings in 2022. This would include both Westfield Montgomery and Westfield Wheaton.

The Eleanor is Set to Reopen April 1st
The Eleanor, located at 931 Ellsworth Ave in Downtown Silver Spring will be reopening on Thursday, April 1st. The Eleanor is bar/bowling lounge that features casual dining, happy hour, mini bowling and skee ball. It first opened in late February of 2020, less than a month before Covid restrictions were put in place in the county.
