The Montgomery County ABS store located at 866 Muddy Branch Rd in Gaithersburg is temporarily closed following a staff member’s positive COVID-19 test result.

Planta, a New Upscale Plant Based Restaurant, is Coming to Bethesda

Planta, an upscale plant-based restaurant featuring a menu by Chef David Lee, will be coming 491 Elm St in Bethesda (formerly Cafe Deluxe.)

Cafe Deluxe closed permanently back in March of last year.

Hispanic Liaison Blanca Kling Passes Away

On January 27th, Montgomery County Police announced the passing of Blanca Kling due to COVID-19 related pneumonia at the age of 68.

Blanca began working as a Victim Assistant in Wheaton for MCP in 1980. In 2005 she transitioned to the Public Information Division with the goal of helping to strengthen communications between the police department and the Hispanic community.
