Two Local Restaurant GMs Chime in on Delivery Apps in MoCo
On October 20, 2020, the Montgomery County’s Office of Consumer Protection (OCP) warned consumers of the fees that delivery apps charge local businesses. The Washington Consumers’ Checkbook, cited in a press release by Montgomery County, reported that the estimated fees for using Uber Eats, Grubhub, and DoorDash charged to businesses were 38% of total order costs.

Per MCPS: The Prekindergarten and Head Start offices are accepting donations of new coats for low income students. Hats, gloves and scarves are also needed. Coats for boys and girls in sizes 5, 6, 6x and 7 can be ordered online and delivered by mail/UPS to:

Today is the last day to vote early. As you can see, numbers have decreased, and wait times have been nearly non-existent in recent days. Head over to any of these locations today, the last day of early voting, to avoid Election Day crowds tomorrow (which should be much better than in the past).
