Brown today joined a coalition of 16 Attorneys General in filing an amicus brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in support of Chico Unified School District (CUSD) and its local school district policy of safeguarding the privacy and safety of transgender and gender-nonconforming students.

Over $91 million of cannabis was sold in the state of Maryland during the month of December, according to the Maryland Cannabis Administration.  These totals include both medical and recreational marijuana sales.  In total, $761.3 million of cannabis was sold in the state in 2023. Recreational cannabis sales became legal in Maryland on July 1, 2023.
