Earlier this year, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group agreed to be bought by private equity firm L Catterton for $267.3 million. Last month, Landry’s, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses and the Del Frisco’s Grilles from L Catterton.

We aren’t sure of what will become of the current Del Frisco’s Grille in Pike & Rose, but we were told today that October 20th will be the last day it operates as Del Frisco’s before closing.


Fogo de Chão specializes in the Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco, roasting high-quality cuts of meats over an open flame, with an espeto corrido service model, which is Portuguese for “continuous service.” The restaurant is also known for their fresh and seasonal Market Table, award-winning wine list, extensive Brazilian-inspired cocktail menu and decadent desserts.


In this proposed solution Northwood High School students would relocate to Woodward High School (where Tilden Middle School is currently located on Old Georgetown Rd.) for the 2023-2024 school year. Northwood High School is 6.9 miles away from Woodward High School.

Northwood students would return to Northwood in September 2025 as final site work activities continue through summer 2026.
