Joint Statement by Local Leaders on Historic White’s Ferry

Last week, Historic White’s Ferry announced they would be ceasing operations immediately after the Circuit Court of Loudon County ruled that no public landing exists on the Virginia Shoreline at White’s Ferry Road, prohibiting the ferry from landing at that location in Virginia.


2020 has been a difficult year for restaurants. A few weeks ago we released a list of restaurants that have closed since March 17th.(not necessarily due to Covid, but since the day the initial restrictions were put in place).

While that list is long, there are still plenty of restaurants planning to open in MoCo in 2021.


White’s Ferry Grill Continues to Operate Despite White’s Ferry Ceasing Operations

About a year and a half ago, Devin Ramazon and his father saw the White’s Ferry Store & Grill building up for lease. Neither had been involved in the restaurant business before, but they knew how to make a good burger and decided to take a chance.

BREAKING: White’s Ferry Ceasing Operations Immediately

In a post on Historic White’s Ferry Facebook page, an announcement was made informing the public that White’s Ferry will be ceasing operations immediately after the Circuit Court of Loudon County ruled that no public landing exists on the Virginia Shoreline at White’s Ferry Road, prohibiting the ferry from landing at that location in Virginia.
