Metro is dealing with a budget deficit of about $210 million, with rail ridership down 90% due to the pandemic.

Bethesda Beat reported Monday that Aldi will be coming to 5110 Nicholson Lane in White Flint Plaza. It will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Shoppers, which closed in January of 2020.
