Bagels & Grinds at 9812 Falls Road in the Potomac Village shopping center will open on Wednesday, April 2. The New York-style bagel spot will be open 5am-5pm daily and is located in the space that was previously occupied by The Potomac Village Deli. (more…)

Church’s Texas Chicken (formerly Church’s Chicken) is coming soon to 7722 Harford Rd. in Parkville, MD, according to a report by Randy Lerman. The new location will replace the former family-owned Greek restaurant, Pita Pan, marking the first Church’s Chicken in Maryland.

The Kentlands Bar Crawl, an event that began over 20 years ago, has grown to attract more than 150 participants this year and raised $1,720 for Feed the Fridge in 2024. This year, the event returns on April 5th to benefit The Rainbow Place Shelter.
Rainbow Place is an emergency shelter dedicated to supporting women at the beginning of their transition out of homelessness. Their primary focus is to ensure the safety of the women they serve during the harsh winter months and to assist them in moving towards stable housing.
