We heard back from the Fallsgrove shopping center who confirmed the report and told us there’s no opening day at the time, but that it’s “probably in a couple months.”

The restaurant name means “Kingdom” in Mandingo, a language spoken throughout Gambia, Mali, and Senegal.

This new family-owned, fine-casual Mexican restaurant serves traditional cuisine including tacos, enchiladas, pozole, gorditas, carnitas, salsas, moles and more. Tortillas are handmade in-house, grinding their heirloom corn that comes from Oaxaca, Mexico. There is a carefully crafted tequila and mezcal menu and cocktails.”
