According to their website, they’ll be opening this Spring at 21040-A Frederick Rd. in Germantown.
Don Pollo currently has two Silver Spring locations, one Rockville location, one Gaithersburg location, and two Bethesda locations.
On March 1st we reported on the new Corned Beef King location at Liberty gas station in Rockville (Rockville Pike and Twinbrook Parkway), but the news of the Olney location closing comes as a shock to us.
Again, the food truck will remain on site in Olney.

They’ve both lived in MoCo their whole life and wanted to celebrate the opening of their new Annapolis location (2329-B Forest Drive Annapolis, MD 21401).
The restaurant has been closed since January, with repair work being done on an alleged pipe burst that forced the restaurant to shut down.

Josh VerStandig was raised in Bethesda and Poolesville. He and his brother, Mac VerStandig, grew up in households that centered around family barbecues and cookouts. Josh tells me grilling and barbecue is in his blood, so when he found out Chaps was franchising it only made sense for them to get involved.
