Back in August we reported that CB Açaí Bowls and Smoothies is coming to Olney. The signage is now up next to Shell on Georgia Avenue.

CB Açaí Bowls and Smoothies will be located in the Olney Center at 18062 Georgia Avenue, which is currently home to House of Fortune, and is expected to open in the first half of 2020 (aiming for April).

With so many out-of-towners around and the start of a four day weekend for many, the night before Thanksgiving has become the biggest going out night of the year…and two of our sponsors have just the right events for you!

Start off your night with dinner at Dogfish Head Alehouse in Gaithersburg where magician Kourosh Taie will be performing from 7pm-9pm. There will also be early Black Friday specials on merchandise and you’ll be able to stock up on 32 oz. Crowlers to take to Thanksgiving dinner! Open until midnight.

MoCo Hidden Gem: 168 Asian Burrito (Olney)

MoCo has traditionally done a great job with gas station cuisine. I’m not referring to combos, energy drinks, and bubble gum– I’m talking places like Taco Bar, Corned Beef King, Seoul Food and Mangino’s (the last two are no longer located in gas stations)…Now we have 168 Asian Burrito in Olney (18000 Georgia Avenue).
