The mobile food cart is owned and operated by Lupe Gamez and her sister. It will feature items such as Mango flor, Agua de Sandia, Mango/Sandia con chile y limon, mangonada, and various kinds of elote (con queso, con hot cheetos, etc.).

They will be open for business early this summer and plan to make many appearances in Silver Spring, Wheaton, Rockville, Gaithersburg, and more.


The small, family-owned and operated Italian food market has gained popularity for their Italian subs and other products that are prepared from scratch in their kitchen.

In addition to its market, Gemelli’s has a small, casual seating area where you can enjoy subs, calzones, pasta, beer, cannoli, gelato, and more.


The cafe is owned and operated by Tabitha D. Furbush-Clark, a 1989 B-CC graduate. Tabitha opened the first location in Laurel and wanted to come back home with the arrival of the two newest locations.

They offer coffee, tea, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, wraps, and a lot more.

Poke Dojo features Poke crafted from the freshest ingredients, all served using the best cuts in Poke Dojo’s traditional recipes.


The Gomes family stressed that this family-run business allows everyone to get to know each other. They feel knowing people by face becomes a key to providing great customer service and always love to help with difficult beer and wine related decisions.

They’ve added some new food to the deli side of things and some of the favorites include, the meatball and pepperoni, steak and cheese, chicken bacon ranch, and BMT sandwiches as well as their new flat bread pizzas.


The local artisanal ice cream scoop shop is going to be located in the space next to Starbucks on Boardwalk Place as a summer pop-up (updated on 6/8 to reflect the pop-up status of the store).
