It was announced a few weeks back that he would be bringing Tacos, Tortas, and Tequila to Silver Spring to occupy the old 8407 Kitchen Bar spot (https://mocoshow.com/blog/tacos-tortas-and-tequila-coming-to-silver-spring), but he recently announced that he’ll be bringing an unlimited small plates program, similar to the one at his popular D.C. restaurant Ambar, to the second level of the location.

Burna Vida will take over the second story and offer all-you-can-eat tostadas, empanadas, steak, poblano peppers, Oaxaca cheese, and a lot more for just $35.


According to a Biz Journals article from a few months back (linked below), Chaps Pit Beef is nearing a deal with a potential franchisee in Rockville according to owner Bob Creager.

The popular Baltimore style bbq restaurant, with current locations on Pulaski Highway in Baltimore and Aberdeen, has already reached a deal to bring their first franchised location to Frederick in the new Westview South mixed-use development off of Buckeystown Pike near I-270 in 2019.
