Poke Dojo is located at 7110 Bethesda Lane in Bethesda Row. They offer signature bowls, create-your-own bowls, and a variety of mochi ice cream (2 for $5).

Poke Dojo features Poke crafted from the freshest ingredients, all served using the best cuts in Poke Dojo’s traditional recipes.


The store has been at 20 Grand Corner Ave in Rio for approximately 13 years. We were told there are no plans for this store to relocate as it had from its previous Kentlands location in the early 2000s.

There are nearby locations in Fairfax, Annapolis, and Towson.


In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the MoCo Pride Center will host MoCo’s first ever Pride Party on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 right in the middle of Rockville Town Square.

This pride celebration will feature all night entertainment, an unforgettable community atmosphere, food and drink vendors, and local queer organizations. Featuring performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race Superstar, Peppermint!


The local artisanal ice cream scoop shop is going to be located in the space next to Starbucks on Boardwalk Place as a summer pop-up (updated on 6/8 to reflect the pop-up status of the store).

For those unfamiliar with Moorenko’s, they earned The MoCoShow’s #1 ice cream spot in MoCo award when we released our list back in 2017.


Their brunch will feature dishes like short rib frittata and avocado smash toast to go along with their daily menu and $5 mimosas. Brunch will be a la carte.

Childhood friends Ike Grigoropoulos (Gaithersburg High School), Dimitri Moshovitis (Quince Orchard High School), and Ted Xenochristos (Paint Branch High School) opened the restaurant in 2006.
