Yard House, which offers “great food, classic rock, and the worlds largest selection of draft beer” is working towards taking over the old Macaroni Grill location. There are still a few hoops left for Yard House to jump through, but it’s looking like a strong possibility.

Poke District will be opening soon where the old Sprint store was over by the movie theater. Tree lighting ceremonies will take place at Pike & Rose (4pm-7pm) and Rio Washingtonian (6:30pm-8pm) on November 17th. Rockville Town Square will hold theirs on November 18th (5pm-8pm).
Damascus, Northwest, Paint Branch, and Quince Orchard High Schools will be playing in the regional football finals on Friday (NW and QO will be playing each other).

Cupcakes seem to have weathered the storm, so maybe they’re here to stay! I’m an ice cream guy and always found myself settling for frozen yogurt because there were so many places I could get it. I can’t say I’m upset, but I always feel for a business when they’re forced to close their doors.

Since then, Dave & Buster’s opened in Ellsworth Place Mall in Silver Spring (that was in the works for a long time before this rumor came about). The first part of the rumor ended up coming true as well, with Sport & Health closing permanently in that location.
Now rumors are heating up again about Dave & Buster’s coming to occupy the spot Sport & Health left behind.
