Moe’s Southwest Grill recently came back to MoCo when the fast casual Mexican restaurant opened in the Wheaton Mall food court.
Many of you may remember that Moe’s previously had MoCo location last in Gaithersburg at the Potomac Valley shopping center until October of 2015, in Rockville Town Square (where Finnegan’s Wake is now located), and in Silver Spring on Tech Rd (where Qdoba is now located).

Jollibee is Coming to MoCo This December
Back in March we let you know that Jollibee was making its way to MoCo with its first Maryland location in Wheaton Mall.
The Montgomery County Humane Society will be distributing cat and dog food at Westfield Wheaton (JCP Parking Lot) to members of our community who have hit hard times and need help.
Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Rain or shine.
Cabin John Train and Wheaton Train and Carousel are closing until further notice, per Montgomery Parks.
Montgomery County’s new executive order calls for amusement parks, including stand-alone features like carousels, to remain closed because of the current public health crisis.
On August 24th, 2020 Downtown Wheaton will be the new home of the Montgomery County Planning Board, Montgomery Parks and Montgomery Planning, all part of The Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).
The newly constructed 14-story building, owned by M-NCPPC, is located on Reedie Drive near the Wheaton Metro Station. The building and surrounding site replaces the county-owned Wheaton Market Place parking lot with a LEED Platinum-rated, mixed-use building, a town square and a 400-space public parking garage.
Quickway, a Japanese quick service restaurant, will open its fifth MoCo location in Stone Mill Square, the shopping center that’s home to Korean Korner.
The regional chain now has restaurants in 25 different cities across the DMV.
Jollibee is coming to Wheaton Mall.
Back in March we let you know that Jollibee was making its way to MoCo with its first Maryland location.
As we reported back in December, Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood Bar is coming to MoCo with two new locations in 2020 (Gaithersburg and Wheaton).
They’ll open in the Montgomery Village Crossing shopping center at 9643 Lost Knife Rd.– the old Home Design Furniture location.
