Enclave Coworking in Gaithersburg

Enclave Coworking is excited to open its latest location in Gaithersburg!

Located in the Kentlands at 504 Main Street, the new space features a professionally designed work environment, with private offices for executives and small businesses and a business lounge for hybrid workers seeking a distraction-free change of scenery.

Located within minutes of most Gaithersburg residents, Enclave offers the opportunity to work close to but not at home. Members have access to phone and meeting rooms, a stylish coworking lounge, high-speed internet, printing services, monitor storage, and complimentary coffee, tea, snacks, and soft drinks. New members who sign up in November can enjoy one month free for office rentals and discounted rates for lounge access.

Schedule a tour now!

Enclave member Jason Tuscher shares, “I have a home office, but it’s much harder to focus with the kids running around,” highlighting the value of a dedicated workspace. Since covid, parents in particular have long sought a local “third space” from which to work. With Enclave, they can skip the commute and still get the change of scenery sought by so many hybrid workers.

Gaithersburg residents are welcome to visit and enjoy a free 2-week trial.

“We are thrilled to provide Gaithersburg professionals with a productive workspace close to home,” said Jake Ganey, General Manager for the DMV. “Our tech-enabled space offers office facilities and a premium business lounge without the distractions or commute.”

Enclave will open additional locations in Bethesda and Silver Spring, and across DMV over the next year.

Look Both Ways: A Tale Told In Ten Blocks

Take a step in a new direction.Written by New York Times Best-selling Author Jason Reynolds.

This world premiere is a Co-production with Theater Alliance, adapted by El Chelito and Raymond O. Caldwell, and directed by Caldwell.

When: Saturday, January 25, 2025, 11 a.m.
Where: Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center, Montgomery College-Rockville Campus

This story was going to begin like all the best stories. With a school bus falling from the sky. But no one saw it happen — they were all too busy. Washington, D.C. area native, New York Times best-selling author, and Kennedy Center Next 50 leader Jason Reynolds conjures 10 tales (1 per block) about what happens after the dismissal bell rings.

10 blocks. 10 unique tales. There’s something for everyone across these 10 vignettes about identity, compassion, fear, and friendship — as told through puppetry, dance, music, projections, audience participation, kamishibai (paper theater), and more. This faithful stage adaptation of Reynolds’ award-winning book (Carnegie Medal, Coretta Scott King Author Honor Book, National Book Award for Young People’s Literature finalist, and more) encourages audiences to look both ways not only when crossing the street, but also when acknowledging the people walking by.

This show is recommended for ages 10 and up!

In October 2024, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (or ABET), granted accreditation to the University of Maryland’s Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering (CPSE) program at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG); making it the first cyber-physical systems engineering program to be ABET-accredited at the undergraduate level. Cyber-physical systems programs were previously graduate-level academic or professional degrees or specializations in other disciplines.

“ABET is an internationally recognized and respected leader in assuring quality engineering education, and receiving its seal of approval is an important milestone for a brand new program like the Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering.”
