The Bender JCC’s Health and Harvest Fair taking place this Sunday, September 22 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., is a free, all-ages, family-friendly wellness festival designed to help you live your healthiest year!

From Valley Forge to Fake News, yea verily from Manifest Destiny to Mar-A-Lago, from Alexander Hamilton the Patriot to Hamilton the Musical, the three cultural guerillas of the Reduced Shakespeare Company will take you on a ninety-minute rollercoaster ride through the glorious quagmire that is American history. 

And the “presidential front-runners” may just make a surprise appearance to answer any audience questions: Who really discovered America or was it already here? Who is Gerry and why does he mander? If the pro is the opposite of con, then is progress the opposite of congress? History is normally re-written by the winners… but now it’s the Reduced Shakespeare Company’s turn. 

Called a “trio of Modern Marx Brothers” by the Boston Herald and “intellectual vaudeville” by the New York Times, The Reduced Shakespeare Company (RSC) is a touring American comedy troupe that performs fast-paced, seemingly improvisational condensations of huge topics.

DC Bike Ride is the district’s only car-free, social bike ride, bringing bicyclists from near and far together to celebrate our great city in a truly unforgettable way!

The 20-mile, car-free course is purposefully designed to be approachable for first-time riders and avid cyclists alike while taking riders past some of the city’s most iconic sights, including the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial for the perfect photo op.
