Water Main Break on 355 Closes Southbound Lanes Friday Morning
A water main break early Friday on 355 is causing major delays to the morning commute. The break occurred across from White Flint Mall/Lord & Taylor, between Security Lane and Edson Lane.
Yesterday, WMATA’s General Manager released a proposal for major changes involving Metro for 2021. They are hoping to make up for a $500 million deficit caused by decreased ridership during the pandemic plus additional cleaning and PPE costs.

The City of Rockville will be posting “Right Turn Yield on Red After Stop” signs at ten intersections with red light cameras according the Rockville Public Information Office. The signs are intended to remind drivers that they must make a full stop before turning or they could be subject to an electronic ticket.

I-495 and I-270 Managed Lanes Study: Let Your Voice Be Heard
So many of us know the feeling of being stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic jams on I-270 during rush hour. In 2019, a study by Texas A&M University found that the average DC-area car commuter spends 102 hours a year in traffic, which puts it in the top three of metro areas in the entire nation.
All southbound lanes of the I-270 spur are closed just past Democracy Blvd (exit 1) due to a vehicle collision involving two tractor trailers.
This will be an extended closure due to the fuel spill that was a result of the collision.
