Sligo Ave is blocked between Fenton St and Grove St in Silver Spring due to a natural gas leak.
Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer reports that a construction crew hit a gas line and MCFRS is currently on the scene.
Drivers are advised to seen an alternate route and expect significant delays.
