Montgomery County Police Launch New Initiatives to Address Excessive Speeding on 495/270

Yesterday, Maryland State Police, along with the Montgomery and Prince George’s County Police Departments, launched the first of six new initiatives aimed at reducing vehicle related deaths due to excessive speeding and impaired driving.

Around 1:40PM Saturday, Montgomery and Fairfax County Firefighters responded to the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway (I-495 North) between Persimmon Tree Road and River Road for a reported overturned vehicle.
