There are a lot of questions surrounding what the team plans on doing with starting quarterback and impending free agent, Kirk Cousins, but today we’re going to look at more than just the quarterback situation.

In addition to the official MoCoShow odds, I asked Mike Neubeiser (Head Coach, Northwest High School), John Kelley (Head Coach, Quince Orchard High School), and Andy Pollin (radio and tv personality) who they thought would be starting QB, RB, and WR opposite Josh Doctson to start the 2018/19 season.

It started as a little google blog that would receive a couple dozen hits a day in the winter time, but quickly grew when I opened my Twitter account in 2013. Since then, the website has received over a million hits in a single winter and the Twitter account has amassed over 15k followers. There are almost 30,000 MoCoSnow subscribers and over 10.8k likes on Facebook.

Aside from a meteorology class I took at Montgomery College one summer almost two decades ago, everything I’ve learned about winter weather has been self-taught. I’ve purchased subscriptions to websites that give access to some of the best weather models available and I compare the information I get from those to the information provided by local news outlets.

Today I was able to make it…and it didn’t disappoint.

I’ve had decent ramen in MoCo before, but I tend to travel to DC when I want really good ramen. Now I know I don’t have to venture out that far. This was amazing.

Born in Suitland and raised in Largo, Nicholas attended Dr. Henry A. Wise High School in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He was expelled from high school and was eventually locked up at a juvenile detention center for burglary at age 16, but he persevered and ended up graduating high school with a 1.8 GPA.

He started his college education at Prince George’s Community College. “How am I supposed to get in the other joint with a 1.8 GPA?” he joked on Twitter, as he responded to a couple negative comments tweeted his way. He earned an associates degree and was accepted to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in criminal justice and graduated Cum Laude.

A few weeks back I stopped by Filippo’s in Wheaton to try one of their Italian cold cuts, but made it about an hour after they closed on a Sunday. Today I made sure to come while they were open and got to enjoy what many people refer to as the best cold cut in MoCo.

I ordered two items, the cold cut and the panino, based on the recommendation of the young lady that was working behind the counter. As I ordered I spoke with a gentleman that was waiting for his sandwich to be made. He informed me that he lost 42 pounds in 3 months from eating all of his meals at Filippo’s. Not sure what he was eating, but I’d love to get a hold of his diet soon.

I just stopped by Clarksburg Grocery and had one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve EVER tasted at Clarksburg Grille (located in Clarksburg Grocery).

I HIGHLY recommend the cheesesteak. It was amazing…10/10.

Pandora Seafood House & Bar has been open since mid-October. It’s a very beautiful restaurant that is open for both lunch and dinner (special lunch menu). The prices are fair for the quality of food you will be getting, as entrees range from $20-$30 each. They also offer a couple non-Seafood dishes in case someone in your party is anti-Seafood 😊. I was told the bread is the only thing not made in the restaurant.

I sat at one of the few tables in the small deli/market and enjoyed two of the best tasting sandwiches I’ve ever had. While we were eating, Filippo himself stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well. I’ve heard stories about how nice of a man he is and my first interaction with him proved these stories true. He is one of the kindest people I’ve met; making sure we had everything we needed and thanking us for coming in.
