Seneca Valley High School’s newest music teacher, Mr. Gage, is tuning up for the academic year in a way you’ve probably never seen before. Gage has spent the last six years at Neelsville Middle School, and has taught in public schools for 8 years. Yesterday we reported that the Staples store at 20906 Frederick Road STE A is preparing for its permanent closure. A store manager has confirmed the office supply retailer will officially close its doors for the final time on Thursday, August 29th. However, the storefront won’t be vacant for long. Dollar Tree has secured the necessary permit to begin work on the space.

On Sunday, units were dispatched to a home at 14843 Poplar Hill Rd in Germantown for a house fire linked to lithium batteries in the basement, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS).
