NAMIWalks 2024
To support its free educational programs, power its advocacy efforts, and strengthen outreach to
the community, NAMI MC presents its largest mental health awareness and fundraising event of
the year, NAMIWalks, on May 18, 2024.
WHAT: NAMIWalks Mental Health for All
WHERE: Rio Lakefront, 9811 Washingtonian Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878
WHEN: Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 9 am to 12 noon
WHO: Hundreds of Montgomery County residents and mental health advocates
“We all recognize the significant impact that current events are placing on our mental wellness,”
said Sharon Dietsche, NAMI MC Executive Director. “Our friends, family, and neighbors can afford
nothing less than Mental Health for All. NAMIWalks brings the community together to speak out
for improved mental health for everyone.”

There is no registration fee, but participants are encouraged to create a fundraising page.
Participants who raise at least $100 receive an event T-shirt. 100% of funds raised support NAMI MC’s free mental health programs, resources, and services.
