Café Sophie, a European boutique style café with Scandinavian influence, is now open at the Montgomery County Airport (7940 Airpark Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20879). Cafe Sophie will offers indoor and outdoor air-side dining and serves breakfast, lunch, and grab ‘n go sandwiches.

We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym is Coming to Gaithersburg
Owners Pam and Kristina Ackley are bringing a new children’s play space to Gaithersburg.
We Rock the Spectrum will be located at 7601 Airpark Rd. next to Jazmin Cuisine. The gym provides children with a fun and motivational enviroment to help them in the areas of strength, movement sensory processing, communication, positive behavior modification, social interactions, and self-care skills.
As of now it looks like there has been minimal construction inside, but they are hoping for a June opening.
The gym will offer ten pieces of sensory equipment:
– Zip Line
– Zip Box with Slide
– Crash Pit
– Trampoline
– Hammock Swing
– Tunnel
– Carpet Swing
– Climbing Structure
– Bolster Swing
– Swivel Rotators
Per its website, “At We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym, we provide Play With A Purpose™. Play With A Purpose is exercising and stimulating any of the seven senses through positive physical, emotional, and social development. These senses include sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch, the vestibular system, and proprioception. Our specially designed, sensory-safe equipment and the classes that we offer all encourage these!”
