Injunctions Against Montgomery County Filed Over Restaurant Restrictions

The Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) held a press conference today outside of their headquarters in Columbia, MD announcing that they have filed requests for temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions against Montgomery County, Prince George’s County and Baltimore City, with the goal of having indoor and outdoor dining restored as soon as possible.

Several restaurants across Montgomery County have reached out to us to let us know that they are on board with a plan by the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s to file for an injunction against Montgomery County to reopen indoor dining.

Montgomery College to Remain Virtual Through Spring Semester

Montgomery College President DeRionne Pollard released a statement earlier today that announced the school will remain virtual through the spring semester, citing the risk that bringing additional classes back to campus would put people in given the high levels of COVID-19 in our region.

Patisserie Manuel Temporarily Closes Montgomery Mall Location

The popular French Bakery Patisserie Manuel announced on their Instagram page today that they will be temporarily closing their Montgomery Mall location due to staff members possibly being exposed to COVID. Their Silver Spring location will remain open.
