Farmers markets in Montgomery County remain open for community-oriented, adventurous alternatives to grocery shopping.

Hosted in various large outdoor spaces throughout the county, tents are spaced to comply with social distancing guidelines so shoppers are able to support local businesses while getting a breath of fresh air. One such market is the Bethesda Market, which is known as one of the largest farmers markets in the region, and boasts over 50 vendors.

If you are interested in helping out local businesses but are wary of entering the market itself, many markets are offering pre-order options, along with curbside pickup for orders.  If you wish to experience the market yourself, masks are required and social distancing guidelines are enforced.
