Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is Offering a Free Scoop Tonight

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams opened back in November of 2019 at 4918 Elm Street in Bethesda, just a few months before the pandemic shut things down for many area restaurants.

Though Jeni’s in Bethesda was able to hold a grand opening event, the company decided they wanted to welcome everyone back to its shops with a “faux grand opening bonanza” that will include a free scoop from 7pm until close tonight (10pm for the sole MoCo location).

Below you’ll see the full message from Jeni’s social media, including locations across the country that are not participating in the event.

“It’s a long-standing tradition for us to hand out free scoops at our grand opening parties. Now that we can officially welcome you back into our shops, we figured why not throw an epic, nationwide, free scoop, faux grand opening bonanza?! Join us one week from today, Monday, June 21, for FREE scoops for all from 7 p.m. to close. We can’t wait to see you!

*Excludes our North Market, Columbus Commons, Nashville Farmer’s Market, Armitage, and Sparkman Wharf shops. Please note, participating scoop shops will be closed during the day on June 21 to prep for the party.”
