1. MoCo Music Icon Logic Announces Retirement

After a career that lasted just over a decade, rapper Logic just announced his retirement on Twitter.

The rapper stated on social media that he would officially retire after the release of his sixth studio album, “No Pressure”, which is set to be released on July 24th.

“It’s been a great decade,” Logic wrote on Twitter. “Now it’s time to be a great father.”

Logic was referring to his son Bobby, who he announced had been born in 2019 to his then fiancee, Brittney Noell.

Between 2009 and 2020, Logic has released 5 studio albums, 1 soundtrack album, and 7 mixtapes. He has been certified gold three times and had his 2017 album “Everybody” go platinum.

Logic was born and raised in the West Deer Park neighborhood of Gaithersburg.
