Maryland ranked as the 7th most diverse state in America on the list for the fourth year in a row. Our neighbor Virginia ranked 12th, while California came in 1st.
Lending Tree, a U.S. online loan marketplace company, has created and released a list ranking “How Much is Costs to Raise a Small Child in Each State.”
Researchers from the website analyzed data from several sources to estimate and rank the costs to raise a child in each state and the District of Columbia.

Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer reports that a fire caused by an unattended candle caused more than $200,000 in damages to a home last night in the 400 block of Hannes St. at Northwood Forest in Kemp Mill.
