MoCo One of Four Maryland County Health Departments to Administer > 90% of Covid Vaccine Doses

In an update provided by Governor Hogan via Twitter this morning “Four of our county health departments have now administered more than 90% of their doses. Overall, county health departments have administered 36.2% of the doses delivered by Operation Warp Speed.”

270,150 doses of vaccines have been allocated by the state to hospitals, nursing homes, and local health departments as part of Phase 1A (98.7% of doses from the federal government).

0.06% of National Capital Region Residents Have Received Covid Vaccinations

The Maryland Department of Health released Covid vaccination data yesterday, showing that 1,509 residents of the National Capital Region (consisting of Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, and Prince George’s counties) have taken the first dose of a Covid vaccine.
