Bethesda

Chef Tony’s at 4926 St Elmo Ave in Bethesda will have it’s last day of service this Sunday, May 23rd. This is not an unexpected decision, as the that area is scheduled to be redeveloped into apartment buildings. Neighboring restaurant VUK closed its doors on May 16th. The restaurant plans to reopen in a new location this September.

In a letter on their website, the owners write, “some time ago, we realized this date was nearing, and we needed to see what other opportunities were out there…and we have been looking and looking at neighboring spots, trying to find the best space that would be suitable to move our business in Bethesda…and we’re happy to say we’ve found it!”
