Remy Long and Tim Martin were born and raised in Montgomery County. The brother-in law duo created a Web 3.0 and NFT company called “Pandavinci Labs”. NFT stands for non-fungible token. It’s generally built using the same kind of programming as cryptocurrency, like Bitcoin or Ethereum, but that’s where the similarity ends. Physical money and cryptocurrencies are “fungible,” meaning they can be traded or exchanged for one another.

They duo has various NFT products in the works, including their collection called “MixTape Headz Society: Ukraine Edition”, which was released as an NFT charity auction to the public. 100% of the proceeds will go towards Ukraine relief efforts.

Long graduated from Watkins Mill High School, went away for college and moved back to the county where he still lives today. Martin is a graduate Albert Einstein High School. He went to Art school in Baltimore and also returned to MoCo where he currently resides.

Coming from a refugee family, Long is deeply moved by the events in Ukraine and felt compelled to act in whatever way possible to make a difference. “The goal is to reach as many people across the world and raise funds for humanitarian organizations with boots on the ground in Ukraine. 100% of the proceeds will go to help the country during this unprecedented time.” Long told us.
