Tacos Borrachos Coming to Rockville
A brand new food truck named Tacos Borrachos (drunken tacos), will be coming soon to Wilkins Ave. in Rockville. Their signature item will be birria tacos, the popular Mexican style street taco that is served with a side of consommé.

Updated on 9/18/21: Zofia’s Kitchen, now known as Rogi, will no longer be coming to King Farm. The space next to it has been leased by Fidelity Investments and signage has been put up in the windows.

Update: Crown Fried Chicken & Waffles Now Open
Crown Fried Chicken Homemade Waffle & Breakfast is now open at 9120 Rothbury Dr. in Montgomery Village (next to Athens Grill).
We Art Fun Now Open in Germantown
We Art Fun, a paint-it-yourself art studio located at 19847 Century Blvd in Germantown, is now open for business.
It has been over a year and a half since we let you know that True Food Kitchen would be taking over the old Joe’s Crab Shack location in Rio (221 Rio Blvd Ste 0221, Gaithersburg, MD)
At the end of the summer the restaurant had made progress with the exterior, but the interior had a lot of work left to go. There hasn’t been any progress since then (as seen in the photos below).
Molten Cookies, a new virtual pop-up bakery from Tandoori Nights (106 Market St, Gaithersburg), is now available for delivery.
The cookies are baked fresh to order and come in eleven different flavors, including S’Mores, Reese’s, and Triple Chocolate. They are available everyday from 5-9PM.
Aldi to Takeover Old Shoppers Location in White Flint Plaza
Bethesda Beat reported Monday that Aldi will be coming to 5110 Nicholson Lane in White Flint Plaza. It will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Shoppers, which closed in January of 2020.

Rumors of one of the trendiest social spots in DC, Colada Shop, coming to MoCo began swirling in December when a reader sent us a map of Cabin John Village that listed Colada Shop in the old Le Pain Quotidien location, next to CAVA.
