The City of Gaithersburg will celebrate GIS Week with a scavenger hunt across the city.

The scavenger hunt will start this Monday, November 15th and run through the week until Friday, November 19th and the winner will receive an awesome swag bag from the City of Gaithersburg.

“It’s GIS Week and in Gaithersburg we really like to celebrate! This year we will be hosting a Gburg Scavenger Hunt. Each day from Monday, November 15th to Friday, November 19 we will be posting a clue to a place in Gaithersburg with its longitude and latitude. Post a selfie at the site, or just the site if you’re selfie challenged to be entered to win a Gaithersburg swag bag and bragging rights. You can enter once for each site you post and we’re giving you a couple of extra days just in case you need them.
