The Ballpark Loudoun has announced it will be opening next month, March 2022. The 22,000 sf entertainment venue first announced its flagship location back in April 2021, with many referring it to a baseball/softball version of the popular golf game venue, Topgolf.

The Ballpark Loudoun will be located at the new Lexington 7 building off of Route 7 at 20051 Riverside Commons Plaza, Suite 100 in Ashburn, VA and will provide training and entertainment for all skill levels. The facility is outfitted with 8 lanes, six of which feature both HitTrax & Pro-Batter technologies. It is also inviting for those looking for some BP or a fun competition with friends. Compete against your coworkers, friends or family in a full game, home run derby at your favorite stadium, or just step up to the plate and see how you fare in a pro stadium.

The in-house restaurant will be Chibop, which provides a Korean fast-casual dining concept similar to Chipotle. Chibop’s restaurant concept is based on Korean chicken, Bibimbop and Noodle Soup. Chibop’s goal is recreate Asian street food in a fast-casual way, like what Chipotle has done for Mexican food. Fast food has always been synonymous with unhealthy. Chibop will change that by offering fast service with healthy food. This concept could positively change the very definition of fast food by keeping the service fast, yet making the ingredients sustainable, healthy, and tasty. Customers can read through the entire menu quicker than a wine list at most casual dining spots.

Additional information can be seen below, via the initial press release from April 2021:

“The Ballpark Loudoun, a unique and creative concept for baseball, softball, and fun seekers, is proud to announce its first location opening in the new Lexington 7 building off of Route 7 in Ashburn in early Fall 2021.

The flagship location will feature 22,000 square feet of space that houses professional-level training space and innovative technology used by the pros, as well as a spacious, family-friendly atmosphere and mouthwatering food. The Ballpark Loudoun will offer a high-end training program as well as provide an active entertainment experience for anyone looking for some friendly competitive socializing.

“We are building the best high end, technology-based baseball and softball training and entertainment facilities in the country with the first location based on our home county, Loudoun,” says Chris Bourassa, the Ballpark Loudoun’s President & CEO. “We are excited to continue our efforts of developing youth character and leadership through sports – specifically, through the Ballpark Loudoun’s youth program offerings.”

The Ballpark is all-encompassing and will offer HitTrax, Driveline Baseball, and Pro Batter technology that offers the ability to set the system for baseball & fast pitch softball, as well as training and one- on-one lessons with professional instructors for the serious ballplayer wishing to hone their skills and level up.

The activities are not the only things that standout at The Ballpark Loudoun. The planned onsite restaurant, Chibop, will feature the best Korean food in Loudoun County alongside fan-favorite traditional ballpark eats. You will be able to grab an adult beverage while hanging out on the expansive patio, at the outdoor bar, and even on the viewing deck overlooking the hitting lanes. The Ballpark Loudoun truly embodies America’s favorite pastime, reimagined.
