In a social media post from Governor Larry Hogan this morning, it was revealed that Maryland’s First Lady Yumi Hogan has tested positive for Covid-19.

“As part of our weekly testing regimen, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19. Having been vaccinated and boosted, she is only experiencing mild symptoms. She will quarantine at Government House. I received negative rapid and PCR tests.

We want to again take this opportunity to urge Marylanders to get boosted for maximum protection against the Omicron variant.”

Governor Larry Hogan tested positive for Covid-19 on December 20th. During his announcement he said he was feeling fine and encouraged residents to get their booster shots.

Additional information on Covid-19 in the state of Maryland can be found on the Covid dashboard.
