Vehicle Fire in Olney Leaves Several Cars Damaged

A vehicle fire on Prince Philip Drive in Olney resulted in damage to multiple vehicles, but fortunately left no one injured. The incident was quickly brought under control by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS).

Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer reported that the fire originated in the engine compartment of a single vehicle and subsequently spread to nearby vehicles. The response from MCFRS units, including PE740 and AT704, ensured that the fire was contained before it could cause further damage or pose a threat to public safety. Although several vehicles sustained damage, the fire is now fully under control.

Authorities have not yet released detailed information regarding the cause of the fire.
