We’ve been sitting on this one for a while, but it’s finally official and our friends over at Carmen’s Italian Ice will open a second location at the old Rita’s spot in Olney (3233 Spartan Road).
We announced that Rita’s would be closing permanently back in Olney and heard various rumors about what may move in, but we’re happy to hear it’ll be locally-owned Carmen’s.
Carmen’s currently has a location in the Woodley Gardens shopping center in Rockville (1115 Nelson Street) if you want to check it out before the Olney location opens.
They are planning to open in April or early May of this year.
