Olney Grille Temporarily Closes Due to staff Member Testing Positive

In a very honest and responsible move, Olney Grille has decided to close temporarily after a staff member tests positive for COVID-19.

The restaurant released the following statement on its social media:

“Over the past 7 months, despite the difficult times, we have considered ourselves relatively lucky. We have an amazing, supportive clientele and a loyal, hardworking staff.

Everyone did their due diligence to stay safe and healthy, but, unfortunately, yesterday we had a staff member test positive for Covid-19 and closed the doors immediately.

As the rest of the staff continues to get tested, we foresee being closed for some time to work with the County health department to ensure we can re-open in a safe manner, which will also include a professional sanitation of the entire restaurant.

Please keep us in your thoughts and if you have any concerns about possible exposure in our restaurant this week, please email us at [email protected]. Thank you for your continued support.”
