Governor Hogan to Provide Covid Update Tomorrow at 5pm

With hospitalizations above 700 in Maryland for the first time since mid-June, Governor Hogan has announced he will be providing Marylanders with a COVID update tomorrow at 5pm.

In addition to the hospitalizations, the positivity rate is now above 5% again and Maryland has had its sixth consecutive day with over 1,000 new cases.

Just days after MCPS released a proposed timeline for a safe return to in-person instruction (pending health metrics being met), Harford County has decided to return to a completely virtual format.

According to the release from his office, Governor Hogan will “provide an update on our efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.”
