MoCo reports record-high 631 new confirmed Covid cases

These 631 new cases were confirmed from 11,793 tests, also a record high. Statewide, Maryland reported 3,792 new cases from 55,939 tests, both the highest to date.

The statewide seven-day average positivity rate is eight percent, while MoCo is at 6.18 percent. In our neighboring counties, the seven-day average positivity rate is:
• Prince George’s: 9.65 percent
• Frederick: 7.88 percent
• Howard: 6.41 percent
• Washington, D.C.: 3.5 percent
• Arlington County, VA: 6.8 percent
• Fairfax County, VA: 10.3 percent
• Loudoun County, VA: 8.8 percent
