MoCo Vaccination Rate Update by Councilmember Evan Glass

Per Councilmember Evan Glass:

”I’d like to share some positive news on the covid vaccination rates in Montgomery County.

41% of residents have received at least one dose

24% of residents have been fully vaccinated

Of those who have received at least one dose is, the breakdown of the vaccination type is:

53% Pfizer

40% Moderna

7% Johnson & Johnson

The FDA and CDC’s guidance to pause administration of the J&J vaccine will result in the county having to reschedule some appointments. Individuals who have received the J&J vaccine and develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination should contact their health care provider.”
