Police Investigating Carjacking in Gaithersburg

Per MCPD:

Carjacking : Whetstone Glen Street and Girard Street, Gaithersburg (approximately 3:45 pm):

Detectives are investigating the carjacking of a black Lexus SUV with MD tag: 1BP 5636.

The two male suspects arrived in an older gold Chevrolet Malibu. The victim described the suspects as a black male and a light-completed unknown race male.

The owner of the SUV was injured attempting to stop the theft. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
