Collision Causes Truck to Overturn on 270, Four Lanes Blocked

8:45AM Update: Three right main lanes reopened SB I-270 past Muddy Branch Rd. from earlier traffic incident. Expect significant residual delays as clean up continues. 

Montgomery County Emergency Management tweeted that the four main lanes of southbound I-270 are closed as of approximately 8am.

Per MCFRS PIO Pete Piringer, a collision caused and truck to overturn with one person initially trapped inside the vehicle.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue are currently on the scene.
