Update on Qdoba’s New Gaithersburg Location

Last month we let you know that Qdoba Mexican Eats would be opening a new restaurant in the recently renovated and renamed Rock Grove Center in Gaithersburg.

The fast-casual chain will be opening its newest location at 16260 Frederick Road in the location that was formerly home to Jerry’s Subs and Pizza.

The restaurant had a beer-wine-liquor license hearing scheduled for July 15th, but that was rescheduled for Thursday, August 5th, according to the application notice posted on the door.

Construction has not progressed since last month, but the restaurant could open by the end of 2021.

Qdoba has two other Montgomery County locations– one on Rollins Ave in Rockville and another on Tech Road in Silver Spring.
