A pedestrian was struck by a train Sunday night around 9pm close to East Deer Park Drive in Gaithersburg.
The individual was located near a bridge at Deer Park, per Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services PIO Pete Piringer.
The person died at the scene and was not transported to the hospital. The police department was on the scene last night conducting an investigation.
No other information has been released at this time.
